STUDY TOUR NIGERIA 2022

The Embassy of France in Nigeria and Campus France organized the 2nd edition of the Study Tour Nigeria from November 22nd to 24th 2022.

As the flagship of Campus France’s endeavour towards fostering education partnerships between France and Nigeria, the event introduced prospecting students to the best information and experiences of studying in France.
This includes engineering, business and management schools, public universities and specialized schools in culinary arts and French language.

In 2021, more than 600 Nigerian students chose France to follow their studies and this number has been increasing exponentially to date. The French Higher Education system has evolved greatly in order to provide a large variety of programmes taught in English (more than 1600 Ph.D., Masters and Bachelors) and welcome more than 400.000 international students.

This year, 17 French Higher Education institutions came to Nigeria to discover new talents and potential academic cooperation. The Study Tour Higher Education Fair took place in two cities: Abuja on November 23rd and Lagos on November 24th.

The Study Tour also presented an opportunity for representatives of Nigerian universities, state and federal institutions, and scholarship providers to take part in institutional meetings with French schools, fostering new partnerships in the future regarding scientific and higher education cooperation.

The students got a unique opportunity for one-on-one meetings with the schools. These individual meetings allowed them to get information on admission, programs, financial supports, but also to share their CV and receive some valuable piece of advice directly from the schools on how to apply next year!
