Étudiants, Chercheurs

You got an admission from a French higher education institution? Congratulations!
Follow the Etudes en France procedure to start your student visa application.

Etudes en France

All students accepted into an institution of higher education in France who is invited to go study there for more than three (3) months need to create an account on a platform called Etudes en France before they can complete their visa application on France-visas and finally submit it at TLS.

On this portal, students need to upload all their documents (international passport, CV, admission letter, transcripts, accommodation certificate, etc.) After all documents are confirmed and validated by our agents, students will be allowed to book an appointment on the platform for their preliminary visa interview in one of our Campus France offices.

Only after this interview are the students allowed to proceed with the visa appointment with TLS in Abuja or in Lagos.

Application Process

1. Go to the Etudes en France website: https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/…/authentifica…/login.html using Mozilla Firefox as the website doesn't work well with other browsers.

2. Select Campus France Nigeria. If it's not showing, clear your cached data, restart your computer and try again.

3. Create your account

4. Fill in all your information (personal, education background, work experience, etc.)

5. Your file will be validated by Campus France Nigeria within 2 weeks and upon validation, you will be authorized to make a non-refundable payment for the Campus France fee of 50,000 naira.

6. When Campus France Nigeria has received your payment, you are mandated to book an appointment for the preliminary visa interview, where you will need to bring all the documents mentioned in this visa check list.

7. After your interview, you can submit your application to TLS.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. We advise the students to start this visa process maximum three (3) months before the starting date of the program.

For example, a student admitted in a program starting September 2nd 2024 should start creating his Etudes en France account as early as June 2024.

2. After uploading all your documents on the Etudes en France portal, please remember to send us an email before your interview so that we can send you the documents you will need to bring.

3. When filling your address on the portal, make sure to fill in your current residential address to book an interview in the closest office.

4. Acceptance or refusal of a visa is totally at the discretion of the French consular services. Regardless of the decision, the Campus France fee will not be refunded.
