This strategic collaboration aims to address the critical issue of Plastic Waste Management in University Campuses as part of the French Embassy Funds (FEF) project. With Nigeria facing the challenge of approximately 2.5 million metric tons of plastic waste generated annually, the joint efforts between the French Embassy and Nile University hold immense promise in implementing innovative solutions.

The collaboration encompasses the provision of a plastic recycling micro factory co-designed by Nile University's experts and Plastic Odyssey Factories, a leading manufacturer.
